At Bishop Bullyz, our breeding program is built on integrity, intention, and a deep respect for the French and English Bulldog breeds. We’re not here to produce puppies just for the sake of it—we’re here to improve these breeds, generation after generation.

Health Comes First

We begin with comprehensive health testing on every breeding dog. All of our dogs are genetically tested and cleared before they are ever considered for our program. We're also working toward having all of our working dogs OFA certified, starting with our studs. Our goal is to ensure strong hearts, healthy joints, and sound movement—because health isn’t just important, it’s everything.

We focus on preventing the heartbreaking issues we faced with Jubilee, which means our litters are planned with longevity, clear airways, strong spines, and stable structure in mind.

 

Structure Matters

Our Bulldogs are bred to reflect the true breed standard:

Thick, compact frames

Square heads and flat faces

Straight fronts and correct rears

Tight feet, tiny ears, and that signature “bully” look

We value balance, bone, and beauty—because a well-built French and English Bulldog isn’t just more stunning… it’s also more sound and able to live a long, happy life.

 

Temperament is Non-Negotiable

We raise our puppies in our home, not in kennels. They're socialized daily by us, our young daughter, and our extended family. From day three, each puppy goes through ENS (Early Neurological Stimulation) to support early neurological and immune development.

We also incorporate a full range of early socialization, confidence-building, sound desensitization, enrichment, and crate conditioning. While we don’t specifically label it Puppy Culture, we naturally follow its core principles—because we believe that mental and emotional stability are just as important as physical health.

The result? Happy, confident, and well-adjusted puppies who are ready to thrive in any home or setting.

 

Pedigree & Performance

Our dogs come from carefully selected, proven lines, and we’re constantly evaluating how to take each generation one step further. Whether it’s enhancing structure, improving movement, or maintaining genetic diversity, we’re all-in on producing dogs that represent the best of the breed.

Raised in Our Home, Not in Kennels

Our puppies are born and raised in the heart of our home, surrounded by love, daily life, and the sounds of a busy family. They’re handled and socialized daily by us, our young daughter, and even their “grandparents.” This kind of constant human interaction sets the tone for emotionally balanced and affectionate companions.
